I 100% enjoyed reading Pachinko, by Min Jin Lee. Such a great story, spanning a few generations and set in a time that I have always been curious about (the Japanese occupation of Korea). It also gives a good glimpse into what it is like for a family of immigrants to try to make a home in a place where they are not necessarily welcome.
