I miss that Twitter, too

In Patrick Rhone’s July 18th newsletter, he writes about “The Twitter I Miss” and hits the nail on the head. I have begun to loathe checking Twitter for the same reasons he outlines. Contacts who still generate their own content (thoughts/tweets) are the only reasons I keep going back. Unfortunately, they’re few and far between all of the political and public shaming type garbage flooded through the timeline.

He makes a great point about Instagram, as well. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with that platform, as it really has the potential to get back to a more personal sharing level. But the timeline order makes it almost unbearable.
