Reached out to an older KAD who doesn’t drive (she misses a lot of meetups). We’re going to meet for breakfast on Friday, which she seemed excited about (me too). I extended the invite to the rest of the group and more people will be joining. I love that we do this for each other, show up.
Just watched the city pick up an old (dirty, smelly) carpet, using 1 of our 2 annual “large item pickups”. First time taking advantage and it was so easy. Now excited to use both pickups every year to my downsizing efforts. 🚮
I volunteered to create a website for our local KAD group. I was hesitant at first but the more I got into it, the more I feel like this is a nice, quiet (i.e. behind the scenes) contribution I can make. I published the first iteration this morning and it feels good.
Got this Sunday going with a good diner breakfast and some errands before I go into a lazy afternoon.

Headed towards some dietary changes; small changes, with more focus on nutrition and medicine, to be taken in increments so the new habits are properly formed. In the meantime, I’m having fun indulging in the “bad” stuff in our freezer, refrigerator, and pantry in the name of “cleaning them out”.

Not thrilled with the speed of my healthcare provider (long waits) but the actual people were super nice and helpful. Wrist and hand sprain are mild, just needing to be iced regularly for the next couple of weeks.
Sprained wrist (hand?) much more painful today than it was over the last few days. Caved and scheduled a doctor appointment for later.

Attended an adoptee group discussion (online) hosted by the Asian Mental Health Project. It had been a while; I missed the past few months' meetups. Good to be back to listen and learn.
